Lawrence Brothers Dominate at the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship

Millville, MN – The 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship witnessed a commanding performance from the Lawrence brothers, Jett and Hunter, during Round 7 at the Spring Creek Motocross Park. Jett secured both 450MX moto victories, solidifying his lead in the championship standings, while Hunter clinched first in the 250MX class.

In the 450MX division, Jett Lawrence showcased exceptional speed and consistency, finishing with a 1-1 scorecard, clocking fastest lap times and leading every lap. His victory marked his fourth consecutive win, extending his points lead to 25 over Eli Tomac, who finished third overall with a 4-3 performance.

“Staying focused and minimizing mistakes was key today,” Jett stated in the post-race interview. “I’m just thankful for the team and everyone supporting us.”

In the 250MX class, Hunter Lawrence triumphed with a pair of solid rides, taking the win with a 2-1 result. The Australian’s performance moved him to second in the championship, only 12 points behind current leader Haiden Deegan, who managed a respectable 3-2 finish at Spring Creek. Hunter expressed his excitement, highlighting the competitive nature of the class.

“The racing is intense this season; every point counts,” Hunter remarked.

Tom Vialle, the former MX2 World Champion, demonstrated his adaptability with a strong performance, finishing fifth overall. Levi Kitchen also showcased potential with impressive showings in both motos, securing a fourth-place finish in the 250MX category.

With the series now heading to its next stop at Unadilla, momentum is key as riders gear up for the challenges ahead. The competition remains tight, especially in the 250MX class, setting the stage for a thrilling second half of the season.
