Nate Thrasher Cleared After Hospital Visit Following Fox Raceway Crash

Fox Raceway, CA—Yamaha Racing reports that Nate Thrasher has been cleared of serious injuries following a crash during the first 250 Class moto on Saturday. Thrasher, who qualified 19th, experienced a significant incident on the opening lap, necessitating a trip to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation.

Despite the crash, Thrasher displayed commendable determination, re-entering the race and finishing 32nd after being run over multiple times. In a post-race update, Yamaha stated, “As a precaution, he was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.”

Thrasher shared his experience via Instagram on Monday, stating, “Tough day out there—got caught in a crash… I gave it everything I had, but the pain kicked in hard.” Thankfully, he reported only sustaining contusions and expressed his intention to prepare for the upcoming Hangtown race.

Wil Hahn, General Manager of the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Team, affirmed the positive outcome: “Nate was checked out, and luckily everything was okay with just some contusions. It could have been a lot worse.”

Thrasher’s focus now shifts to recovery as he aims to return to competition for next weekend’s event.
