R.J. Hampshire Joins Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing
Corona, CA – Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing has secured R.J. Hampshire on a multi-year contract to compete aboard the Ducati Desmo 450MX. This signing marks a significant chapter in the team’s pursuit of excellence in professional motocross, extending its commitment through 2027.
Hampshire, a recognized champion in the sport, boasts a robust career following his professional debut at Unadilla in 2014. He captured the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX West Championship and has amassed four AMA Pro Motocross 250 victories and three Supercross 250SX West wins. In 2023, he demonstrated his prowess by finishing third in the SuperMotocross World Championship 250SMX standings.
Transitioning to the 450 class, Hampshire has quickly made his mark, achieving 11 top-five finishes and securing two podiums in just two years. He finished fifth overall in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship for 2025 and 2026, with a notable podium at Ironman Raceway in 2026.
Internationally, Hampshire represented the U.S. at the Motocross of Nations, contributing to a silver medal finish in 2025.
