In a competitive display during Friday’s press day, Red Bull KTM rider Jorge Prado showcased his fast-twitch skills alongside fellow competitors, exchanging positions consistently as they navigated the compressed track layout. With seven main event starts this season, Prado’s performance has improved significantly, posting finishes of 3rd, 13th, 7th, 7th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. Notably, his 3rd-place finish at the season opener marks a commendable start, especially given his struggle with injuries last year.

“I would say I’m pretty happy with my riding,” Prado stated when evaluating his progress. “I’m learning a lot, so I think I’ve got to be happy with my level. I know there’s a lot of room to improve, and I still think I can enhance my performance this season.”

Despite discussions about the upcoming AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Prado remains committed to Supercross, emphasizing the current opportunity to gain invaluable race experience. “If I want to be real competitive next year, I need to take this and get a lot of experience this year and learn,” he emphasized.

Prado shifts his focus to maximizing his performance in Supercross while laying groundwork for a strong Pro Motocross campaign. “I think I just improved in everything,” he noted when asked about his development compared to last season. “Now I feel like I can relax more on the track, but there’s still a lot to work on.”

As the Supercross season progresses, Prado aims to conclude strongly, applying the skills honed in this demanding format to prepare effectively for the outdoor series ahead. With several races remaining, the opportunity for further enhancement remains palpable, as he seeks to capitalize on his experience and elevate his competitive edge.
