Red Bull KTM Bids Farewell to Chase Sexton After Successful Tenure

Stuttgart, Germany – Red Bull KTM Factory Racing announced the departure of Chase Sexton, a pivotal figure in their success over the last two years, following the conclusion of the 2025 racing season. The Illinois native’s time with the team was marked by notable achievements including a 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship and over a dozen wins across both Supercross and Motocross disciplines.

In a press release, KTM recognized Sexton’s significant contributions, particularly his dominance in the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship where he captured seven victories out of eleven rounds, securing the 450MX title. Despite facing challenges in 2025, his highlight was a memorable overall win at Washougal.

Sexton also excelled in the Supercross arena, where he finished third in the 450SX standings in 2024 and improved to second place in 2025, just two points shy of the title. Throughout his tenure, he accumulated a total of nine 450SX Main Event victories, with a standout season this year that included seven wins, starting with a triumph at Anaheim 1.

As Sexton prepares to transition to Monster Energy Kawasaki for the 2026 season, Red Bull KTM expressed gratitude for his impact on the team and conveyed best wishes for his future endeavors. The announcement of Sexton’s new deal is expected soon.
