In a disappointing conclusion to the season, Kyle Chisholm faced a setback during the Wildcard race, resulting in a crash that affected his performance and sidelined him from the main event. Despite a positive assessment of his bike handling, Chisholm collided with another rider during a rhythm section, which led to a shoulder and arm injury. “I landed right on top of his bike and hurt my shoulder and my arm pretty good,” he reported, though he confirmed no fractures had occurred. “I’ll be okay… just a bummer to end the season that way.”

On a brighter note, the Twisted Tea/H.E.P. Motorsports/Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance team showcased strong performances throughout the event. Team Manager Larry Brooks praised the overall effort: “We had a really good day, a good weekend,” although he acknowledged Chisholm’s crash as a significant setback. Ken Roczen emerged as a standout competitor, finishing fourth for the night and securing fourth overall in the championship with commendable consistency across both motos.

Looking ahead, Brooks expressed optimism about the team’s trajectory: “The whole team has worked our butts off this season… We know the direction we need to go to improve, and we’re going to come out guns ‘a blazin’ next year in the Supercross Championship.”

As teams prepare for the offseason, focus will shift to strategic improvements to enhance performance in the forthcoming World Supercross events.
