Tom Vialle Withdraws from Washougal Round Due to Injury

Washougal, WA – Red Bull KTM Factory Racing announced today that Tom Vialle will not compete in the upcoming Pro Motocross Championship round at Washougal, following injuries sustained during the Spring Creek National. Vialle reported soreness in his knee and shoulder after a significant impact, which forced him to forgo practice this week.

In his last outing at Millville, Vialle secured a sixth-place finish in the first moto but suffered a crash on the opening lap of Moto 2, leading to his retirement from the race. The current 250SX East title-holder, Vialle will utilize the two-week hiatus preceding Round 9 at Ironman Raceway on August 9 to recover fully.

Team Manager Ian Harrison expressed understanding of the situation: “It’s definitely unfortunate to announce that Tom Vialle will be sitting out this weekend’s race. It’s a long and demanding season for our riders, and we prioritize their health and safety. We fully support Tom’s decision to take the weekend off so he can focus on finishing the season strong and continuing to fight for podiums.”

As it stands, Vialle is fifth in the 250MX standings after seven rounds, with his best finishes being two second-place results at High Point and Southwick. Additionally, he ranks third in the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) points.
