Ducati’s Desmo450 MX Proves Competitive in Motocross Arena

Ducati Corse Off-Road has made significant strides in its motocross endeavors with the Desmo450 MX, marking a strong presence in Europe. The bike debuted in the 2024 World Championship in the Netherlands, piloted by seasoned rider Tony Cairoli, who also helped clinch Ducati’s first title in the Italian MX1 Prestige Championship.

In 2025, the Ducati initiative expanded, bringing in Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini to compete in the MXGP Championship. Their collaboration yielded notable results, including two podium finishes for Seewer, affirming the bike’s competitive edge.

The partnership between Troy Lee Designs and Red Bull celebrates over two decades of excellence in motorsports, having significantly influenced the AMA Supercross landscape since their inception in Supermoto in 2001. Red Bull continues to prioritize athlete development and team support, reinforcing its role as a key player in championship narratives and global visibility for the sport.

Troy Lee Designs, renowned for its artistic helmet designs, has played an instrumental role in shaping Supercross culture. The brand’s commitment transcends performance, impacting style and safety, cultivating a robust connection with riders and fans.

Expectations are high as Ducati prepares for its 2026 Supercross season debut, with the official team lineup and custom designs set to be revealed shortly. This collaboration not only signifies Ducati’s commitment to high-level racing but also brings its storied legacy onto the Supercross stage.
