Chad Reed Inducted into AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame as Part of Class of 2025

Chad Reed, the Australian motocross icon, is set to be inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame tonight, marking a significant milestone in a storied career that spanned over two decades. Reed’s journey began with his U.S. debut in January 1999 and culminated in his retirement at the end of the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season.

Throughout his illustrious career, Reed amassed 132 podium finishes in premier class Supercross, a record that solidifies his status in the sport’s history. He remains the only rider to achieve a Supercross main event victory on four different manufacturers: Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Honda. His final podium came at the 2019 Detroit Supercross Triple Crown event, where he finished third just weeks shy of his 37th birthday.

Reed’s career has seen him compete against and alongside legendary riders, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, and Eli Tomac. His versatility and competitive spirit have made him a formidable presence across various eras in motocross.

As he enters the Hall of Fame, Reed’s legacy is not only marked by his achievements but also by the indelible impact he has had on the sport and its community.
