Cleveland Supercross Report: Yamaha Dominates with Podium Sweep

Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Supercross delivered a remarkable performance for Yamaha, culminating in a full podium sweep in the 250SX class. Cole Davies, rookie Landen Gordon, and Nate Thrasher topped the leaderboard, while Cooper Webb and Justin Cooper secured second and third places, respectively, in the 450SX class.

In a strong display of teamwork and skill, the Yamaha factory effort showcased its dominance, especially highlighted by Gordon’s achievement of his first podium finish.

Wil Hahn, General Manager of the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 Team, spoke to the significance of this achievement following the conclusion of the day’s events. “I feel like in some of the press conferences, we’ve been obviously putting it out there, trying to manifest all that stuff. But to do it, and obviously the 450 team, I mean, all five riders that we had here tonight were on the podium. That’s a huge deal for Monster [Energy], for Star, for everybody. It’s surreal,” said Hahn.

The event marked the final round of the 2026 Triple Crown series, further underscoring Yamaha’s growing prominence in the season’s standings. With this sweep, the franchise solidifies its competitive edge, promising an exciting continuation for the remainder of the season.
