Lindh Steps In for Altoe at Chevrolet Sports Car Classic
Rasmus Lindh, fresh off his victory in the LMP2 class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, has been appointed as a last-minute replacement for Giacomo Altoe at DragonSpeed for the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic in Detroit. Lindh will partner with Albert Costa in the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3.
Lindh has previously competed for DragonSpeed across LMP2 and GTD classes, achieving a best finish of seventh at the Twelve Hours of Sebring aboard the ORECA LMP2. His experience on the Detroit Renaissance Center street circuit from the 2023 Indy NXT season further bolsters his readiness for the challenge ahead.
Currently, DragonSpeed sits third in the GTD PRO teams’ and drivers’ championships, trailing leaders AO Racing by 75 points. The team’s distinctive pink and yellow livery, adorned with sponsorship from streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club, will make a return for this weekend’s event.
