Shaila-Ann Rao Rejoins FIA as Presidential Advisor
Paris, France — The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has confirmed the appointment of Shaila-Ann Rao as presidential advisor, effective May 1, 2025. Rao returns to the FIA after her previous roles as legal director and interim secretary general for motorsport.
Rao’s reintegration into the FIA follows her tenure at Mercedes and her controversial involvement in the cost cap investigation into Red Bull Racing.
