Keanu Reeves to Document Cadillac’s Entry into F1
Keanu Reeves will star in a new documentary chronicling Cadillac’s ambitious plan to enter the Formula 1 grid in 2026. Following the success of Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story, Reeves partners with North One Productions to bring this story to life. He will serve as both host and executive producer.
Cadillac’s Formula 1 operations are currently being set up from six warehouses in Silverstone, under the leadership of team boss Graeme Lowdon. The permanent headquarters is being constructed in Fishers, Indiana. Full access has been granted by nearly all involved, providing an unprecedented look into the operations of an American team in a series dominated by European powerhouses.
“This is a story of bold ambition and relentless drive,” stated Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports, emphasizing Cadillac’s mission to introduce a unique American presence in F1. Mark Reuss, General Motors President, added, “It’s thrilling to have Keanu document the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s journey into the FIA Formula One World Championship.”
The docuseries aims to highlight the challenges of building a competitive team on an accelerated timeline and offers insights into the vision behind this new venture. As interest in Formula 1 burgeons in the U.S., with significant audience growth noted in recent surveys, the documentary is poised to attract new fans to the sport.
