Magnus Racing Enhances Rolex 24 Lineup with Madison Snow
Daytona Beach, FL — Magnus Racing is bolstering its lineup for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona by adding two-time IMSA WeatherTech GTD Champion Madison Snow. Snow will join veteran drivers John Potter, Spencer Pumpelly, and Nicki Thiim behind the wheel of the No. 44 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO.
“We’re excited to add Madison Snow to our lineup for 2026,” said Magnus Racing owner and driver John Potter. “With a family history well established just miles away from me in Utah, it will be something special to finally compete with one another rather than against.”
Snow arrives from Paul Miller Racing, where he accrued significant accolades, including two IMSA GTD titles and a victory in the 2018 Rolex 24 GTD class. In his final season, he also secured a win at Road America in the GTD PRO category.
“Even though I’ve competed against Magnus Racing for my entire career, this feels like a group I’ve known forever,” Snow remarked. “This team is made up of a very experienced group of drivers, mechanics, and engineers who I’ve gotten to know throughout my time in the sport.”
Pumpelly, who has twice won classes at Daytona, will be making his 25th appearance at the prestigious event, positioning him as the most experienced driver in the lineup. Thiim will also return, aiming for his inaugural Rolex 24 victory.
“This year’s GTD field is as strong as it’s ever been,” said Pumpelly. “Every year we’ve been extremely competitive. The last two years have thrown us some bad luck with incidents out of our control, so we’re all hoping it’s out of the way in 2026.”
Historically, Magnus Racing has achieved class wins at Daytona in 2012 and 2016. However, the team faced challenges in the last two editions of the race, retiring from the 2024 event due to a multi-car accident and suffering catastrophic engine failure in the most recent edition, marking Andy Lally’s final start at Daytona.
The team plans to focus on a limited schedule of endurance races moving forward, with further announcements expected later this year. Additionally, Magnus Racing is exploring potential partnerships to expand its competition efforts.
After a short hiatus from IMSA, Potter returned to the series with a unique “Virtual Energy” livery at Watkins Glen and Road America, reflecting IMSA’s 2025 implementation of magneto-elastic torque sensors for the GTD PRO and GTD classes.
