IndyCar Series Test Expands Entry List at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
The IndyCar Series will see an expanded entry list for Monday’s test session at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Notable participants include Mick Schumacher, who will debut with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in a Honda, alongside Caio Collet who returns for a second test in an AJ Foyt Racing Chevy.
Additionally, Dennis Hauger of Dale Coyne Racing, who tested alongside Collet last week at Mid-Ohio, is set to participate in his DCR Honda. Ed Carpenter Racing will field both Christian Rasmussen and Alexander Rossi in their Chevy-powered machines. The Andretti Global team will also take part, bringing Lochie Hughes for a day of testing in a Honda. Completing the lineup, James Roe will represent Juncos Hollinger Racing.
Roe expressed enthusiasm about his opportunity: “Driving in the IndyCar Series has always been my goal, and I’m incredibly grateful to Juncos Hollinger Racing for this opportunity. Indy NXT has been great preparation, and getting seat time in the LMP2 car on the IMS road course last month has only added to my confidence.”
This test marks an important step in preparations for the upcoming IndyCar season, as teams finalize their driver line-ups and setups ahead of the competitive calendar.
