Overview: Husqvarna Mobility North America is set to enhance its competitive footprint in the upcoming 2027 motocross season through partnerships with AEO Powersports and Toyota Redlands BarX Husqvarna. These collaborations aim to elevate Husqvarna’s presence across professional racing platforms.
AEO Powersports: As an authorized dealer operating three locations in the Southwest, AEO Powersports is transitioning to become a leading Husqvarna-supported team. Owner Jeremy Scism stated, “We are really looking forward to the change in brands… With the return of Carson Mumford, we are looking to make an even bigger impact on battling with factory programs.” The team aims to leverage its new look and branding to enhance marketing efforts and partner value.
BarX Racing: In tandem with this shift, BarX Racing is poised to field a roster of up to six riders during the 31-round SMX season, with Lux Turner among the returning athletes. Co-Owner Myron Short emphasized the development focus of the team, stating, “Moving to Husqvarna gives us an opportunity to build something special… providing our riders with the equipment and resources needed to compete at the highest level.”
Commitment to Excellence: Paul Smith, Co-Owner of BarX Racing and President of Toyota of Redlands, reinforced this vision: “Our transition to Husqvarna represents an exciting opportunity… We have made a significant investment in this team… It’s about building a first-class racing organization.”

Each team is set to debut at the AMA Supercross Championship opener at Anaheim 1 on January 9, 2027, signaling a new chapter for Husqvarna in professional motocross.
