Mosiman Signs with Quad Lock Honda: Aiming for Championship Glory
Phoenix, AZ – Michael Mosiman has officially joined Quad Lock Honda for the 2027 racing season, signaling a strategic move aimed at enhancing competitiveness in the 250 class of professional motocross. Despite a history marked by injuries, Mosiman is poised for a strong comeback, asserting his intent to secure victories.
“This sport is brutal, and injuries are part of the journey. Setbacks are tough but meaningful,” said Mosiman. “With support from Yarrive and Kevin, I believe I can win. The challenges have shaped my resilience and determination.”
American Honda is backing this new development phase, reinforcing its commitment to satellite racing and long-term talent cultivation in the 250 class. Jeff Weiner, Assistant Racing Manager for American Honda, expressed confidence in Mosiman’s capabilities.
“Michael is an extremely talented rider with proven race-winning experience. We’re eager to see how he and Quad Lock Honda will perform in the upcoming season,” Weiner stated.
With this partnership, Quad Lock Honda is determined to establish a robust championship-contending program, enhanced by the expertise of industry veteran Kevin Windham, who will focus on rider development and performance testing.
Team principal Yarrive Konsky emphasized Mosiman’s potential. “He’s one of the most talented riders in the class, having secured two podium finishes this year. We’re focused on creating a winning program, not just participating,” Konsky remarked.
The upcoming 2027 season will see Quad Lock Honda competing in the AMA Supercross Championship, AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and SMX Playoffs, with a clear mandate to develop a consistent contender for race wins and championships.
The focus on building a solid foundation and competitive framework positions Mosiman and Quad Lock Honda as serious challengers in the 250 class.
