Duqueine Academy to Return in 2027
The Duqueine Academy by Debard Automobiles has announced its return for the 2027 racing season following a successful inaugural program in 2026. The initiative will award one driver €150,000 to support their racing endeavors with a Duqueine D09 – Toyota LMP3 in an ACO-validated championship.
Eligible candidates must be under 25 years of age and have previously completed a full season in LMP3 driving a Duqueine D09. The selection process includes a multi-stage assessment, beginning with an application review and culminating in a two-day shootout at Pôle Mécanique d’Alès, France, scheduled for November 23-24, 2026.
During the shootout, participants will be evaluated based on performance, consistency, technical debriefing, and their understanding of the vehicle. The winner will be announced within a week of the event.
Jules Caranta, the 2026 recipient of the program, demonstrated notable skill this past season with Nielsen Racing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, highlighted by impressive performances including a strong recovery at Spa-Francorchamps and a front-row qualifying position at Portimão. Caranta is set to compete in a full season of IMSA LMP3 Endurance with Forbush Performance in 2027, building on his experience with the Duqueine customer team in North America.
This program reinforces Duqueine’s commitment to nurturing young talent in motorsports, providing essential support to aspiring drivers.
