2026 ADAC 24H Qualifiers Set for Competitive Showdown
A total of 132 cars have been entered for the upcoming ADAC 24H Qualifiers, a pivotal event featuring two four-hour races. This year’s qualifiers serve as a significant prelude to the August 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, which anticipates a full 150-car grid.
The top SP9 category showcases 37 GT3 entries from nine manufacturers: Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche. Noteworthy competitors include Max Verstappen, who will pilot the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing AMG GT3 Evo in collaboration with Lucas Auer.
Winward Racing is entering multiple Mercedes-AMGs, while Schubert Motorsport, fresh off a victory in the latest NLS race, will field their #77 M4 GT3 Evo driven by Charles Weerts and Ugo de Wilde. Other BMWs include entries from Gamota Racing and defending Nürburgring 24-hour champions Rowe Racing.
Porsche’s contingent includes 11 911 GT3 Rs. Among the roster are emerging drivers like Kyle Tilley and BTCC champion Jake Hill, who will race for Lionspeed GP.
Lamborghini will be represented by Konrad Motorsport and Team Red Bull Abt, each fielding a Huracán GT3 Evo2. Audi teams such as Scherer Sport PHX and KKrämer Racing are also entering with multiple cars.
Walkenhorst Motorsport has three Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evos in the mix, complemented by further entries from PROsport Racing. Ferrari’s representation comes from Realize Kondo Racing by Rinaldi, while Dörr Motorsport enters a McLaren GT3 Evo.
The SP-X class is set to gain attention with the BMW M3 Touring 24h and HWA’s Evo R making their second appearances at the Nordschleife. Notably, DTM champion Bruno Spengler is slated to compete in the #61 HWA entry.
The ADAC 24H Qualifiers are scheduled for April 18-19, 2026, offering critical insights into team form and vehicle performance ahead of the marquee 24-hour race.
