ELMS Returns to Silverstone with Full Grid of 44 Cars
The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is set for an exciting return to Silverstone, featuring a full grid of 44 entries for the Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone, scheduled from September 12-14. This marks the fifth round of the 2025 season and continues the series’ momentum following the recent event at Spa-Francorchamps.
The entry list maintains a diverse roster, replicating the previous race’s line-up with minor adjustments in the LMGT3 category. Notably, Kessel Racing will reinstate Daniel Serra in place of James Calado, while Proton Competition has substituted Antares Au and Alessio Picariello with Christian Ried and Julien Andlauer in their #60 Porsche.
Local interest is heightened with 16 British drivers and seven British teams entered, adding to the competitive atmosphere. The LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, and LMP3 categories remain unchanged, although John Falb is set to continue racing alongside James Allen and Sergio Sette Camara in the LMP2 class, stepping in for Tony Wells.
A substantial crowd is anticipated, promising a thrilling showcase of endurance racing. As preparations ramp up, all eyes will be on Silverstone for what is expected to be a dramatic and closely contested event.
