2026 European Le Mans Series – 4H Le Castellet Preview
Circuit Paul Ricard, France – The entry list for the second round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series, the 4H Le Castellet, has attracted 47 cars. While the lineup mirrors the opening round in Barcelona, notable driver changes have been made due to conflicts with the IMSA series.
Driver Changes:
- Inter Europol Competition has replaced Nick Yelloly with Luca Ghiotto in the #43 ORECA 07 – Gibson LMP2, as Yelloly is occupied with Acura duties.
- AO by TF will see Jonny Edgar take over for Louis Delétraz in the #99 ORECA due to scheduling conflicts with the Laguna Seca round.
- Lilou Wadoux, missing the season opener due to commitments in the GT World Challenge Europe, will make her debut in the #50 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo.
- In the #62 Team Qatar by Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, Maxime Martin steps in for Adam Christodoulou, marking Martin’s debut in ELMS.
- The #54 High Class Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R currently lists a ‘TBA’ driver for the Bronze slot. This position was previously held by Dennis Andersen, whose availability is uncertain as Laurin Heinrich prioritizes his IMSA GTP commitments.
Home Advantage for French Teams:
The race, scheduled from May 1 to 3, 2026, will serve as a home event for several French teams, including the defending LMP2 champions Forestier Racing by Panis and IDEC Sport, last year’s winners at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Once again, the event promises to deliver competitive racing on one of the most iconic circuits in endurance racing.
