WEC Introduces Enhanced Broadcast Graphics Ahead of São Paulo Race
In a strategic update for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the series has unveiled a new set of TV graphics that will debut during the free-to-view YouTube broadcast of FP3 for the upcoming 6 Hours of São Paulo. This enhancement aims to elevate the viewer experience, providing comprehensive race data and insights.
“Our mission was to find creative ways to rationalize and expand our race graphics,” stated Marius Louvet, WEC Communication and Marketing Director. He added, “The racing in the championship is arguably the best it has ever been… we hope everybody will enjoy them!”
The championship is currently enjoying heightened manufacturer involvement, reflecting its status amid growing competition. The new graphics are designed to meet the expectations of fans by offering a premium broadcasting experience.
Timur Boguslavskiy Expected to Rejoin WRT After Health Setback
WRT team principal Vincent Vosse confirmed that Silver-ranked driver Timur Boguslavskiy is anticipated to return to the team later in the season after withdrawing from the 6 Hours of São Paulo due to pneumonia. Vosse shared that Boguslavskiy’s management reached out urgently and expressed hope for a swift recovery.
In his absence, Brazilian racer Pedro Ebrahim made his WEC debut with the #31 Bend WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO during practice sessions.
GT Series Cup Brasil to Support WEC at Interlagos
The GT Series Cup Brasil will provide support races this weekend at Interlagos, featuring a mix of 14 GT4 and GT3 cars competing alongside the WEC. This collaboration enhances the overall racing experience and attracts a diverse audience.
