Acura Meyer Shank Racing Retains Drivers for 2026 IMSA Season

Indianapolis, IN – Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian (Acura MSR) has confirmed the retention of its driver lineup for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, following a commendable debut year as a two-car team.

Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun will remain at the helm of the #60 Acura ARX-06 for a third consecutive year, building on a season that included a second-place finish at the Rolex 24 At Daytona and a victory at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. The duo also secured a second-place finish at the Indianapolis race.

Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly will continue to drive the #93 Acura, engineered by Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US). Their first season yielded a notable victory on the streets of Detroit and podium finishes at Sebring and Road America.

Throughout the past season, Acura MSR earned four pole positions across both entries, contributing to Acura’s strong performance in the 2025 IMSA GTP Manufacturers’ Championship, where they finished a close second.

“I’m really looking forward to 2026 and in many ways, there is no off-season,” Blomqvist stated. “We’ve already started preparing and bringing back the same roster, which will be a huge advantage. With HRC behind us, there’s no reason we can’t bring home the 2026 championship.”

Further announcements regarding drivers for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup are forthcoming.
