AKKODIS ASP Finalizes 2026 FIA WEC LMGT3 Line-Up

AKKODIS ASP has announced the completion of its 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) line-up, confirming two Silver-graded drivers for the upcoming season. Clemens Schmid will return to the #87 RC F LMGT3 alongside José María López and Petru Umbrarescu. Hadrien David, a promising talent making his WEC debut, will pilot the sister car, #78.

Clemens Schmid reinforces his position following a strong 2025 season, where he secured victories at São Paulo and Bahrain, ultimately finishing third in the championship standings. Schmid’s experience will be invaluable as the team aims for further success.

Hadrien David joins AKKODIS ASP after a highly successful 2025 campaign in Europe. He clinched the Le Mans Cup title with R-ace GP in a Duqueine D09 LMP3 and was the runner-up in the GT4 European Series Silver Cup driving a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 for Matmut Évolution, a team associated with ASP owner Jérôme Policand.

David will partner with former TF driver Tom van Rompuy and rising star Esteban Masson in the #78 entry, underscoring the team’s commitment to blending experienced drivers with emerging talent.

This strategic driver lineup positions AKKODIS ASP as a competitive force in the 2026 WEC season, with a focus on continuing their momentum from last year.
