Corvette Racing Unveils Throwback Livery for Laguna Seca

Monterey, CA – Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports has unveiled a retro-inspired livery for the upcoming StubHub Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. This design commemorates the Chevrolet Corvette C5-R, which initiated the team’s legacy in professional motorsports.

The two Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs will prominently feature a classic yellow and white color scheme, reminiscent of the livery first seen at the 2000 24 Hours of Daytona, Twelve Hours of Sebring, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alongside the striking design, the cars will sport a Pratt Miller Motorsports logo styled like the historic GM Goodwrench Service Plus branding, paying tribute to the team’s early 2000s sponsorship.

Matt Stasiak, Operations Manager of Pratt Miller Motorsports, emphasized the importance of the livery’s continuity: “The C5-R 2000 early-season livery was a perfect fit… the livery remains timeless despite the evolution of Corvette’s body styling.”

Corvette Racing has a historic track record at Laguna Seca, boasting eight class wins—the most in modern IMSA history. Their noteworthy performance includes a 2004 victory during the C5-R’s last run at this venue and most recently, a victory in 2021 with the Corvette C8.R in GTLM.

As the team approaches this pivotal event, all eyes will be on their efforts to continue their legacy at a track where they have performed exceptionally well in the past.
