Comtoyou Racing Unveils 2026 Driver Line-Up for GT World Challenge Europe

Comtoyou Racing has confirmed its driver roster for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe, fielding three Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evos in both the Endurance and Sprint Cups. The Belgian team aims to build on a successful partnership with Aston Martin, highlighted by their victory at the 2024 24 Hours of Spa.

Endurance Cup Highlights

The Pro #007 entry will feature Aston Martin factory drivers Nicki Thiim, Marco Sørensen, and Mattia Drudi, who are set to compete together for a third consecutive season. This trio previously secured the team’s inaugural victory at the 24-hour event and have remained competitive following last year’s challenges due to mechanical issues.

Thiim is also slated to compete in the Sprint Cup, targeting the overall drivers’ title for the first time. The #007 car will now include 2025 Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy winner Kobe Pauwels, the previous Silver Cup champion with Comtoyou.

Silver Cup Developments

In the Endurance Cup’s Silver Cup category, Pauwels retains his seat alongside new teammates Oliver Söderström and Sébastien Baud. Söderström, a recent transfer from Walkenhorst Motorsport, will leverage his 2025 Silver Cup championship experience, while Baud returns to the series after competing in the FIA WEC’s LMGT3 category.

Söderström will share the car with Arthur Dorison, a newcomer to sports cars who finished as the runner-up in the FFSA F4 French Championship last season.

Bronze Cup Updates

Completing the line-up is the #11 Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, entered in the Bronze Cup. Rookie A.J. Muss, a former participant in the 2018 Winter Olympics, will partner with Kyle Marcelli and Marcelo Tomasoni, another new addition following a season with BMW Italia Ceccato Racing.

Tomasoni will also race alongside Felice Jelmini in the Sprint Cup.

Team Statement and Outlook

Team owner Jean-Michel Baert expressed optimism about the season ahead, stating, “We have further strengthened our ties with our partner Aston Martin… Our car, line-ups, and team are a real rocket. We fully intend to prove it again this year.”

The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup will kick off at Circuit Paul Ricard on April 10-11, 2026. With a strong driver line-up and renewed confidence, Comtoyou Racing aims to build on past successes in this highly competitive series.
