Corvette Racing Appoints Andrea Hidalgo as New Programme Manager for 2026 Season
Corvette Racing has confirmed the appointment of Andrea Hidalgo as Programme Manager for the 2026 season, succeeding Jessica Dane. This strategic move aims to strengthen the team’s performance in upcoming competitions.
Hidalgo’s background includes a significant tenure at General Motors, starting in 2008 as an intern and progressing through various roles to become Senior Race Engine Calibration, Development, and Track Support Engineer for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. Her technical expertise encompasses combustion, drivability, aftertreatment systems, diagnostics, and transmission development, all of which are critical in shaping Corvette Racing’s future endeavors.
In her recent role, Hidalgo provided trackside support for customer team TF Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship and select European Le Mans Series events. She has also been instrumental in leading controls development efforts to ensure compliance with FIA GT3 engine regulations.
Hidalgo is set to make her debut as Programme Manager at the 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona, scheduled for January 24–25, 2026, marking a pivotal moment for both her career and the team’s aspirations.
