Deletraz Joins JOTA for 6 Hours of Spa as Lynn Recovers
Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing’s driver Louis Deletraz is set to compete in the upcoming 6 Hours of Spa, piloting the #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R. Deletraz steps in for Alex Lynn, who is currently recovering from a planned surgical procedure to address ongoing neck issues. Lynn is anticipated to return for the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours in June.
Deletraz, a 28-year-old Swiss driver, will team up with full-time drivers Will Stevens and Norman Nato. This marks his first World Endurance Championship (WEC) event outside of Le Mans since clinching the LMP2 title at the 2023 season finale with Team WRT alongside Robert Kubica and Rui Andrade.
In related news, the team’s sister #38 V-Series.R introduces Jack Aitken, who will join Earl Bamber and Sébastien Bourdais. Aitken’s late entry follows his absence at the season opener in Imola due to commitments with Action Express Racing in IMSA’s Long Beach event.
Both entries will look to leverage their experienced lineups as they prepare for the challenging 6-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps.
