Dennis Lind Joins Steller Motorsport for Barcelona Test Ahead of 2026 GT World Challenge
Barcelona, Spain – 2021 British GT champion Dennis Lind is set to join Steller Motorsport for a vital three-day test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from November 17-19, 2025. This marks an important step in the team’s preparation for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season, as they continue to develop their Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R package.
Steller Motorsport, which debuted in GT World Challenge Europe in 2025, already demonstrated competitive potential with a second-place finish in the Silver Cup at the season opener in Paul Ricard and showcased their capabilities by leading the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa.
Lind brings over ten years of GT racing experience, including accolades in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and GT World Challenge Asia, along with his British GT title secured with Barwell Motorsport. “I’m very excited to do the test with the Steller team and with a new car for me,” Lind stated. “I hope to provide the team with valuable data and feedback.”
Both of Steller’s Z06 GT3.Rs will take to the track at Barcelona. The second car will be shared by regular driver Lorcan Hanafin and various potential drivers, as the team evaluates options for 2026. Team manager Max Daymond emphasized Lind’s significance in their testing process: “His experience in GT3 racing is extensive, and his speed is without question.”
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya serves as an ideal venue for Steller, providing a wealth of existing data from previous tests and races. This three-day session will lay the groundwork for their 2026 campaign, with a focus on ongoing development and driver assessment.
The test signals a crucial period for Steller Motorsport as they strive to enhance their Corvette platform ahead of the upcoming season.
