Dörr Motorsport Announces Driver Line-Up for 2026 DTM Season
Dörr Motorsport has confirmed an unchanged driver line-up for the upcoming 2026 DTM season, retaining veteran Timo Glock and promising talent Ben Dörr behind the wheel of their McLaren GT3 cars.
Both drivers made notable strides in the previous season. Glock, now entering his 11th year in DTM, recorded multiple top-10 finishes and secured McLaren’s first pole position at Nürburgring—the team’s first in the series. Glock expressed optimism for the new season, stating, “The confidence and belief that we will take another step forward this year is what motivates me.” He highlighted his anticipation for races at Hockenheim and Spielberg, tracks that complement his driving style.
Ben Dörr, 21, who finished as the runner-up in Rookie of the Year standings last season, aims for consistent top-tier performances. Despite challenges, including two disqualifications, he narrowly missed the title. Dörr shared his aspirations, emphasizing a continuous improvement strategy and looking forward to the Nürburgring, where he previously excelled.
Team owner Rainer Dörr outlined the team’s ambitions: “We want to consistently finish in the top five and ideally make it onto the podium together with McLaren.” He detailed ongoing developments, stating that a comprehensive analysis of the team’s first two years in DTM led to strengthened personnel and a focus on vehicle enhancements. He remarked, “Our test data gives us plenty of reason to be confident.”
The 2026 DTM season commences at the Red Bull Ring in Austria from April 24th to 26th.
