GR Racing Announces 2026 Driver Line-Up for ELMS
GR Racing, the Ferrari customer team, has unveiled its driver line-up for the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS). Team owner Michael Wainwright will be joined by Lorcan Hanafin and rookie Mex Jansen in the #86 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo.
Driver Profiles:

Lorcan Hanafin (23 years old): The British driver will be competing with his fourth different team in the ELMS GT ranks. Despite not securing a victory yet, Hanafin has consistently achieved podium finishes in his previous campaigns.

Mex Jansen (19 years old): Jansen arrives in the ELMS as the reigning Silver drivers’ champion from the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, having clinched the title driving a Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 Evo. This season marks his first experience with Ferrari, transitioning from front-engined cars.
Team Background:
Michael Wainwright, an established figure in the ACO community, is entering his third consecutive ELMS season and fifth overall. GR Racing aims to capitalize on a promising 2025 season, which included multiple podium finishes and a near victory at Silverstone.
The 2026 European Le Mans Series will commence at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain, from April 10 to 12, 2026.
