Blanchemain and Pla Rejoin Saintéloc Racing for 2026 International GT Open
Saintéloc Racing confirms its participation in the 2026 International GT Open, marking its third consecutive season in the championship. Pro-Am drivers Michaël Blanchemain and Jim Pla will share the driving responsibilities in an Audi R8 LMS Evo II.
The duo previously raced together in 2024 with Scuderia Villorba Corse’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, securing a third-place finish in the Pro-Am category. They continued their partnership at the 2024 season finale in Monza, demonstrating consistent performance with plans already set for the upcoming 500-kilometre event in 2025.
Team founder Sébastien Chetail emphasized their commitment, stating, “We aim to capitalize on our proven package and the experience gained last year to compete at the forefront of the Pro-Am class in an increasingly competitive series.” The team is also expected to announce a second car entry in the near future.
ISR Racing Unveils 2026 Livery, Targets Pro-Am Contention
ISR Racing officially launched its 2026 campaign with a new livery presentation at the AutoMoto Museum in Lučany, near Prague. Igor Salaquarda will return to compete in his third full season with the team, driving the Audi R8 LMS EVO II.
Joining Salaquarda is Libor Milota, who impressed in the 2025 season, finishing third in the Pro-Am standings, highlighted by a victory at Hockenheim and multiple podiums at the Hungaroring, Red Bull Ring, and Barcelona. ISR Racing is setting its sights on the Pro-Am championship as the season opens at Portimão from April 17-19.
The team also plans to field a second car at select rounds, with further details to be announced.
