Kessel Racing Finalizes 2026 ELMS Driver Line-Up with Mathys Jaubert

Kessel Racing has announced the completion of its driver roster for the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) with the signing of 20-year-old Mathys Jaubert. Jaubert, currently a Silver-rated driver and a member of Genesis’ FIA WEC Hypercar program, will pilot the #57 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo.

Sharing the cockpit with Jaubert will be Takeshi Kimura, a mainstay at Kessel, and Ferrari factory driver Daniel Serra, who rejoined the team last week. Jaubert, who made his ELMS debut last season with IDEC Sport in the LMP2 category, secured three victories and finished third in the LMP2 drivers’ championship. His impressive performances earned him a spot in Genesis’ GMR-001 Hypercar for the upcoming season.

Though new to GT3 racing, Jaubert brings valuable experience from one-make Porsche Cup competitions, where he finished as runner-up in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup France.

Kessel Racing’s second entry, the #74 Ferrari, will feature drivers Andrew Gilbert, Fran Rueda, and rookie Romain Leroux.

The 2026 ELMS season kicks off from April 10-12 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain.
