Lionspeed GP Unveils Pro Class Line-Up for GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup

Lionspeed GP has announced its driver line-up for the Pro class ahead of the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, commencing this weekend at Brands Hatch. The team will field a #80 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) driven by Bastian Buus and Ricardo Feller.

Both drivers are under Porsche contract and have previously competed for Lionspeed. Buus is making his Pro class debut in the Sprint Cup, while Feller has experience in this category from previous seasons, including a championship win in 2023 with Tresor Orange1.

In the recent Endurance Cup at Circuit Paul Ricard, Lionspeed showcased competitive potential by running in the top three until a power steering failure forced retirement in the race. Last season, Buus and Feller drove for the team in its Bronze Cup program, securing three victories and a strong second-place finish in the team standings.

From Round 2, Lionspeed will also introduce a second entry, the #89 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) driven by Alex Fontana and Bashar Mardini, competing in the Bronze Cup. Notably, the Bronze class will not be present at Brands Hatch due to venue capacity restrictions.

The opening round features two one-hour races, taking place on May 2-3, 2026.
