Lionspeed GP Finalizes 2026 Driver Line-Up for GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup

German team Lionspeed GP has officially announced its driver line-up for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, marking its debut in the Pro class. The #80 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) will feature Bastian Buus, Ricardo Feller, and Porsche factory driver Thomas Preining.

Buus and Feller previously raced for Lionspeed last season, with Feller participating in the full championship and Buus focusing on the Sprint Cup. Feller will also join the team at the ADAC 24H Nürburgring this year. Preining, the 2023 DTM champion, will drive for Lionspeed for the first time, combining this role with his commitments in the DTM and IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, where he will compete with Manthey.

In addition to its Pro entry, Lionspeed will expand to a two-car effort in the Endurance Cup, with the #89 Porsche competing in the Bronze Cup driver category. Alex Fontana, Patrick Kolb, and Bashar Mardini will pilot this vehicle. For the Sprint Cup, Fontana and Mardini will share the #89 entry, while Buus remains the only confirmed driver for the #80 car.

The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup kicks off at Circuit Paul Ricard, France, from April 10 to 11, 2026.
