Manthey Racing to Return in 2026
Manthey Racing has confirmed its return to the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2026 with its renowned ‘Grello’ #911 Porsche 911 GT3 R. The team has a storied history, having secured a record seven wins at the ADAC 24H Nürburgring. Currently, participation is confirmed for NLS1, with specifics on drivers and a complete program to be announced later. Last season, Manthey consistently performed, finishing on the podium across five races, including a victory at NLS3 and a second-place finish in the 24H, where a time penalty altered the outcome.
PROsport Racing Appoints New Managing Director
PROsport Racing has appointed Marc Hennerici as its new managing director, succeeding founder Chris Esser. Hennerici, a former FIA GT1 race winner and Nürburgring specialist, expressed his commitment to advancing the team’s legacy. “PROsport Racing stands on solid foundations… I look forward to building on this foundation,” he stated. For 2026, the team will field a fleet of GT3 and GT4-spec Mercedes-AMGs, along with Aston Martin Vantage AMRs and a Porsche Cayman, gearing up for a robust entry in the NLS.
Dinamic GT Continues Partnership with Pirelli
Dinamic GT has renewed its partnership with Pirelli for the 2026 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, entering the SP-9 Pro class with a Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) Evo. The team retains drivers Bastian Buus, Loek Hartog, and Joel Sturm, and adds Porsche factory driver Michael Christensen, who replaces Matteo Cairoli. Last season, Dinamic recorded a best NLS finish of fourth and reached the overall podium at the 24H Nürburgring.
K-Krämer Racing Enters SP9
K-Krämer Racing will compete in the ADAC 24H Nürburgring’s SP9 category with an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, fielding drivers Fidel Leib, Tobias Vazquez, and Michele Di Martino. This marks a significant step for the team as all three drivers transition from the CUP2 class. Leib shared his excitement about returning to GT3 competition, stating, “This is an absolute dream come true.” K-Krämer Racing has already conducted tests with the new car at Circuit Paul Ricard.
