Nova Race Shifts to BMW M4 GT3 Evo, Ending Honda Partnership
Nova Race, an Italian GT team, has confirmed its transition to the BMW M4 GT3 Evo for the upcoming season, concluding a five-year relationship with Honda. The Varese-based outfit has been the exclusive customer of the NSX GT3 Evo25, a model developed by JAS Motorsport nearby.
Since debuting the NSX GT3 in 2021, Nova Race has enjoyed significant success, securing the Endurance Am title in the Italian GT Championship. The following year, drivers Jacopo Guidetti and Leonardo Moncini clinched the Italian GT Sprint Drivers’ title, contributing to a Teams’ championship win utilizing the NSX GT3 Evo22.
In preparation for the 2025 season, JAS Motorsport upgraded the car to the NSX GT3 Evo25, which featured enhancements in cooling and aerodynamics. The revised vehicle showcased its competitiveness, achieving a class victory in its Sprint debut and accruing three overall podium finishes.
Beyond the Italian GT Championship, Nova Race also participated in the GT World Challenge Europe and GT Open with the NSX GT3.
Looking ahead, Nova Race is planning a two-car entry for the Italian GT Championship in 2026, with aspirations to re-enter international competitions.
