IMSA YouTube Channel Surpasses NASCAR Subscriber Count, Reaches 1.7 Million
In a notable development in the motorsports media landscape, the IMSA YouTube channel has surpassed the subscriber count of its parent organization, NASCAR, reaching 1.7 million subscribers. This milestone reflects a significant growth in IMSA’s digital presence, driven by extensive live coverage of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in over 200 countries, as well as engaging original content, including the successful series Win The Weekend presented by Michelin and the Endurance Hour Podcast.
In August, during the Motul SportsCar Grand Prix at Road America, IMSA surpassed one million subscribers, marking its rapid ascent in the digital domain. The channel now boasts over 500,000 more subscribers than the FIA World Endurance Championship, which holds around 1.2 million, and is approximately 471,000 ahead of the IndyCar Series.
Additionally, the recent IMSA Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is now available for viewing in its entirety on the channel, further enhancing viewer engagement.
This achievement underscores IMSA’s commitment to broadening its global audience and solidifying its position within the competitive landscape of motorsports streaming.
