Ford Racing Confirms Driver Line-Up for 2026 FIA WEC Season

Ford Racing has announced the return of Ben Tuck and Giammarco Levorato to Proton Competition’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) LMGT3 program for the 2026 season. Both drivers, who made their full-season debuts in the 2025 championship, will continue to pilot the Ford Mustang, which will be upgraded to Evo specification for the upcoming season.

Tuck and Levorato previously raced the Mustang in 2025, with Tuck sharing the #77 entry alongside Ben Barker and Benjamin Sousa, while Levorato was paired with Dennis Olsen and Stefano Gattuso in the #88 car. During the 2025 season, the Ford team achieved significant milestones, including a podium finish at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and securing pole position at the Lone Star Le Mans, where Levorato claimed the top spot ahead of Tuck, marking a front-row lockout for the Mustang.

Proton Competition will focus exclusively on the Ford Mustang GT3 program in 2026, following the confirmation that the team will not return to the Hypercar category next year. Details regarding the remainder of the LMGT3 lineup will be announced later.

This strategic move positions Proton Competition to build on their increased competitiveness in the WEC, confirming their commitment to the Ford Mustang as they aim for further success in the series.
