Lamborghini Squadra Corse Appoints Andrea Reggiani as Head of Motorsport
Lamborghini Squadra Corse has officially appointed Andrea Reggiani as its new Head of Motorsport, effective immediately. Reggiani succeeds Rouven Mohr, who has been serving in an interim capacity since Giorgio Sanna’s departure in 2024. Mohr will retain his position as Chief Technical Officer, with Reggiani reporting directly to him.
Reggiani joins Lamborghini after a seven-year tenure at Dallara and has previously held notable roles at Ferrari, including Head of Corse Clienti and North American Director of Motorsports. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as Lamborghini prepares to debut its new Temerario GT3 race car in the 12 Hours of Sebring, marking a significant step in the brand’s motorsport strategy.
In addition to overseeing the development of Lamborghini’s motorsport models, Reggiani will manage the commercial operations of racing activities and the Essenza SCV12 trackday-only program.
Lamborghini has also announced continuity in its Super Trofeo championships, with Erik Skirmants (North America), Federica Teneggi (Europe), and Francesco Scardoni (Asia-Pacific) continuing as regional coordinators.
Reggiani expressed his gratitude, stating, “It is a true honour to join Lamborghini as Head of Motorsport. I look forward to building on this strong foundation and helping to write the next chapter in our racing history.”
Mohr highlighted the strategic importance of this appointment, emphasizing Reggiani’s wealth of motorsport expertise: “His significant motorsport expertise aligns perfectly with the brand’s long-term strategic plans.”
As Lamborghini enters a new chapter with the Temerario GT3, the focus will be on achieving success in prestigious GT3 championships and maintaining the momentum of the Super Trofeo platform.
