GT Open at the Hungaroring: Haase and Reicher Clinch 300th Race Victory

In a flawless performance from pole to chequered flag, Christopher Haase and Simon Reicher secured their first victory of the 2025 season in the GT Open, marking the series’ 300th race at the Hungaroring. Driving for Eastalent Racing in their Audi, the duo now leads the overall standings with 87 points.

“The car was perfect today. It’s great to stand on the top step of the podium again, especially in front of such a passionate crowd during this milestone event,” said Reicher post-race.

Second place went to the young team of Carl Bennett and Tommaso Mosca in the AF Corse Ferrari, followed by Levente Révész and Phil Ellis in the Motopark Mercedes, who maintained their title aspirations despite dropping to third. The standings remain tight, with Révész just four points adrift of the leaders.

The Pro-Am category saw Steve Jans and Aaron Walker of GetSpeed claim their third victory of the season, reinforcing their championship lead. They finished ahead of Libor Milota and Filip Salaquarda (ISR Racing Audi) and Valentin Pierburg with Dominik Baumann (SPS Mercedes).

In the Am class, Gino Forgione and Michele Rugolo achieved a double win with their AF Corse Ferrari, tying on points with Mark Sansom, who took second in the Garage 59 McLaren.
