Rodin Motorsport to Debut in British GT with Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo in 2026

Rodin Motorsport is preparing to enter the British GT Championship in 2026, fielding a Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. This marks the team’s debut in the SRO-run series, where Rodin is already a recognized presence through its participation in the GB3 championship as part of the support package.

Previously known as Carlin, Rodin Motorsport has achieved significant success in junior single-seater categories, winning over 30 championships since its inception in 1999. The team also has a brief association with sportscar racing, having competed in LMP2 events within the European and Asian Le Mans Series.

Benn Huntingford, Rodin Motorsport’s sporting director, expressed enthusiasm about the new venture. “We’re pleased to be adding a British GT programme to our activities for 2026. It’s a well-established championship with strong competition, and we’ll approach it with the same professionalism we bring to all of our racing operations,” he stated.

David Dicker, founder of Rodin Cars, noted, “At Rodin, we are always looking for new opportunities. GT3 is one of the strongest racing categories in the world, and we are very happy to join it, especially with a Ferrari.”

The Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo will be the first to compete for Rodin after Spirit of Race’s previous campaign with the initial model in 2025. The Evo version is expected to adapt to the competitive landscape more effectively, addressing past performance challenges.

Rodin’s driver lineup is set to be announced later as preparations for the season advance. The season will kick off with a media day test scheduled for March 31, 2026, at Silverstone, followed by the opening race on April 25-26, featuring a three-hour endurance format.

This strategic entry into the British GT marks a significant expansion for Rodin Motorsport, contributing to its aspirations in diverse racing disciplines.
