Le Mans Ultimate Version 1.2 Update Introduces ELMS Content and Enhanced Features
Version 1.2 of Le Mans Ultimate, the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship, has been released, showcasing new European Le Mans Series (ELMS) content. The highlight of the update is the addition of the ELMS Pack 2, featuring the Circuit Paul Ricard and the Ginetta G61-LT-P325-Evo LMP3.
Initially, only the 2025 layout of Circuit Paul Ricard, with the Mistral chicane, is available. Additional track variations will be introduced after the current ELMS season. The Ginetta LMP3, raced by DKR Engineering in the 2023 ELMS and Michelin Le Mans Cup, is the second LMP3 car included, following the Ligier JS P325.
The pack is priced at €9.99/£8.99/$11.99 but is complimentary for ELMS season pass holders and RaceControl Pro+ subscribers.
Key Features and Technical Enhancements
Significant updates include:
- RealRoad simulation model improvements: Enhanced rubber accumulation and better grip dynamics in wet conditions.
- Wheel rim heating: Implemented for LMP2, LMP3, LMGTE, and LMGT3 categories, alongside a refined tire model that moderates temperature peaks.
- Driving standards badges: Online players receive Good, Trusted, or Warning badges based on their contact ratios. Those with a Warning badge face a limited opportunity to improve before potential bans.
- LiveSteward System: A backend addition that tracks in-race incidents, with future plans to enact penalties for various infractions.
- Gameplay enhancements: Introduction of Time Penalties, texture streaming for improved graphics, and mandatory Easy Anti-Cheat for online play.
New features like Team Online Championships and an Engineer Mode for pit stop configurations further enhance user engagement, with future implications for the Le Mans Virtual qualifying process.
Upcoming Features
The next update, expected in early 2026, will include the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the Duqueine D09 LMP3, completing the ELMS Season Pass content.
For additional details, players can explore the improved visual damage systems, native telemetry, and added support for Japanese language options.
This update positions Le Mans Ultimate at the forefront of sim racing, focusing on realism and competitive integrity in online environments.
