TF Sport Extends Partnership with Corvette Racing Through 2027
TF Sport has announced a two-year extension of its partnership with Corvette Racing, continuing to field the Corvette Z06 GT3.R in global competition until the end of 2027. The British team, led by Tom Ferrier, transitioned from Aston Martin to Corvette at the onset of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 category, achieving notable success.
After a strong debut season culminating in double podium finishes at the 8 Hours of Bahrain, TF Sport expanded its program to include the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and is eyeing a return to both the FIA WEC and ELMS in 2026.
In 2024, key highlights included a victory in the Qatar 1812KM, along with podiums at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 6 Hours of Sāo Paulo. The team recently secured a win at the 6 Hours of Fuji, solidifying its competitive presence.
Currently, the #81 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R, driven by Tom van Rompuy, Rui Andrade, and Charlie Eastwood, remains in contention for the LMGT3 title, sitting 24 points behind the leader. The sister #33 car, piloted by Ben Keating, Jonny Edgar, and Daniel Juncadella, holds fourth in the standings.
In the ELMS, Eastwood, Andrade, and Hiroshi Koizumi clinched TF Sport’s first championship title in the series, highlighted by victories at Imola and Portimão. Additionally, the team made an appearance at the Rolex 24 in GTD Pro in collaboration with Team Trackhouse.
“This partnership with TF Sport is a source of pride for us,” said Jessica Dane, Corvette Racing program manager. “TF Sport exemplifies a committed customer team, and we are excited about the future.”
Ferrier remarked, “In just one year, we progressed from our first podiums with the Corvette GT3.R to being European champions and double WEC race-winners. This success is thanks to the teamwork from everyone at Corvette Racing and our crew. I look forward to extending this partnership.”
