Max Verstappen Attends GT World Challenge Europe Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard

Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen made a notable appearance at the GT World Challenge Europe Prologue test at Circuit Paul Ricard today. Arriving during the lunch break alongside Daniel Juncadella, one of the drivers for Verstappen Racing’s #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, Verstappen’s presence highlighted the crossover between F1 and GT racing.

Verstappen Racing is elevating its status this season, transitioning from last year’s Gold Cup to the Pro class, where they will compete with a team that includes Juncadella, Jules Gounon, and Chris Lulham, under the management of 2 Seas Motorsport. The team is also preparing for the eagerly anticipated 24 Hours of Nürburgring, where Verstappen will team up with Juncadella, Gounon, and Lucas Auer.

Complementing the presence of Verstappen, Lance Stroll was also in attendance, testing the #18 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo in preparation for his competing events this weekend.

This convergence of F1 and GT drivers underscores the increasing synergy within the motorsport community, as elite drivers engage across various racing formats.
