Reddick Honors Family and Women in NASCAR with Special Paint Scheme at Texas
Fort Worth, TX – Tyler Reddick will debut a unique paint scheme on the No. 45 Jordan Brand race car at Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday, as a tribute to his wife, Alexa, ahead of Mother’s Day. The design aims to celebrate women in motorsports, featuring Alexa’s name prominently displayed above the door.
“The team approached me a couple of months ago with the idea,” Reddick told RACER. “Initially, I was unsure, but when I shared it with Alexa, her reaction was priceless.”
The elegant design incorporates crystals, symbolizing the raw potential within everyone to achieve greatness. This initiative aligns with Jordan Brand’s “40 Years of Greatness” campaign, marking a significant milestone in their history.
“The stories we’ve incorporated into the car amplify the brand’s message,” Reddick added. “Every new design brings a fresh perspective.”
Alexa expressed her surprise at being featured on the car, something she never expected. “To be recognized is truly special,” she remarked. “The classic black and red colors are exactly my style.”
While Alexa will not be present at the race due to her approaching due date for their second child, Reddick acknowledged the added pressure of racing with her name on the car. “Yes, the pressure is there,” he stated bluntly.
In a nod to their previous family tradition, the couple playfully discussed how the name for their upcoming child has yet to be decided, with the race outcome perhaps influencing the final decision.
As the No. 45 team gears up for the race, Reddick aims not only for victory but also to honor his family and the contributions of women in the sport.
