Müller to Join Inter Europol Competition for 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans
Inter Europol Competition has announced that Porsche factory driver Nico Müller will race with their #343 ORECA 07 – Gibson LMP2 in the upcoming 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. Müller joins teammates Bijoy Garg and Reshad De Gerus, who have been competing as a duo in the European Le Mans Series.
Müller returns to LMP2 after previously racing with Vector Sport in 2022, where he participated in four rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship, including his Le Mans debut. Following his stint with Vector, the Swiss driver transitioned to Peugeot TotalEnergies, competing in the Hypercar category for two seasons. His most recent appearance in the sportscar domain was during the 2025 6 Hours of Spa, driving for Porsche in a one-off event.
“I’m super excited to join Inter Europol Competition for the biggest race of the year,” said Müller. “Having competed at Le Mans in both Hypercar and LMP2, I’m eager to fight for the win with my teammates.”
Team principal Sascha Fassbender emphasized the significance of Müller’s addition: “Adding Nico gives us a very strong line-up and the possibility to have two competitive cars, both able to fight for the win.”
Inter Europol Competition will field two cars at the event, aiming to secure their third LMP2 category victory in four years. Defending champions Tom Dillmann, Jakub Smiechowski, and Nick Yelloly will pilot the sister #43 ORECA.
The 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans is scheduled for June 10-14, 2026.
