Pirelli GT4 America Finale: RAFA Racing Dominates, RS1 Secures Championship at Indy
In a dramatic conclusion to the Pirelli GT4 America season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the #68 RAFA Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, driven by Westin Workman and Tyler Gonzalez, secured victory but fell short of the Silver class championship. Despite their weekend sweep, RS1’s Luca Mars and Spencer Pumpelly clinched the 2026 Silver title by a narrow one-point margin.
The pivotal moment came on the opening lap when RAFA Racing’s #812 Pro-Am Toyota collided with Mars’ #028 RS1 Porsche, eliminating it from contention and leaving Mars and Pumpelly to fight from a seventh-place standing in class. Gonzalez started strong, ascending to second place behind Trenton Estep in the #7 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 GT4 RS Clubsport.
RAFA Racing executed a seamless pit stop, allowing Workman to emerge in the lead. He ultimately crossed the finish line 4.4 seconds ahead of Estep. The race concluded with Workman and Gonzalez finishing first overall, while Mars and Pumpelly secured the sixth-place Silver class points they needed to maintain their championship lead.
Dome Motorsport had a notable showing, with the #37 Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Allen Patten and Marc Miller clinching third overall and the Pro-Am class victory. Laura Hayes also added to Dome’s accolades by winning the Am class in the #39 Mercedes-AMG, ensuring a double victory for the team.
In the Pro-Am championship standings, the #94 Random Vandals Racing BMW completed the season strong, finishing seventh overall, while the #30 TechSport Racing Ford Mustang GT4 of Frankie Muniz and Tyler Stone secured the GT4 America Am title.
This season marked a milestone for RS1, securing their third Silver class championship in five years.
