United Autosports Unveils Special Livery for Le Mans 24 Hours to Combat Meningitis
United Autosports, in collaboration with McLaren Racing and Sanofi, will debut a unique one-off livery on its No. 59 GT3 Evo at the upcoming Le Mans 24 Hours. This initiative aims to raise awareness about meningitis and underscores the importance of vaccination and early detection.
At a Paris launch event, Thomas Triomphe, Executive Vice President of Vaccines at Sanofi, emphasized the parallels between endurance racing and public health efforts: "Le Mans is the ultimate race against time, just like our fight against meningitis… When every second counts, we choose to race for lives."
The No. 59 GT3 Evo, driven by Grégoire Saucy, Sebastien Baud, and James Cottingham, will feature the Meningitis Flag, serving as a symbol for the campaign. Vinny Smith, CEO of the Meningitis Research Foundation, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, "This is more than just a flag — it’s a call to action… We hope this collaboration will help us reach millions with life-saving information."
This initiative is set to elevate awareness during one of motorsport’s most prestigious events, aligning with broader health objectives and community support for those affected by meningitis.
