Chase Sexton to Miss Indianapolis Supercross Round Due to Injuries
Monster Energy Kawasaki has confirmed that rider Chase Sexton will not compete in the upcoming round nine of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series in Indianapolis. The decision follows injuries sustained during a practice crash prior to the Daytona event, which also sidelined him for that race.
Since transitioning from Red Bull KTM to Kawasaki in the off-season, Sexton has achieved one podium finish, securing a victory at Anaheim 2. However, his performance in the first eight rounds of the 2026 season has placed him fifth in the overall standings.
As the series continues, the absence of Sexton raises questions about Kawasaki’s strategy and his potential recovery heading into subsequent events.
